Hailsa! I hope you have enjoyed the videos on Asatru TV this year. I would like to ask for your assistance with finding videos to show on Asatru TV. If you have seen Asatru-related or culture-related videos that should be posted on this site, please post a link to the video in the comment section of this message. I will take a look at it and see if it can be posted to Asatru TV.
This is not specifically about Asatru, but many Asatru families will have children attending college at some point, so this may be worthwhile to check into. When done with the video, pick up the free PDF book. Also read "How to Acquire an Elite College Education for Less Than $7000," by Joe O'Donnell.
"This is a demonstration of Rune Stadhagalr, or Rune Stances. This has been developed within the religious tradition known as Asatru. The stances represent Runes, which each have their meanings and effect."
These Russian pagans are not Asatru, but many of their beliefs and forms are related to us. Their celebrations are fascinating and wonderful to watch. The Fylfot ("Swastika" is the Hindu term) pictured in the video represents the powers of the Sun, which is honored at this time of year.
Description of video: "Kupala - one of four most great saintday Kologoda, when are connected "incompatible" things: Sky and the Earth, Fire and water. Time of summer solstice. Bright gods are located on the peak of their might."
Welcome to Asatru TV! With the advent of free video services like YouTube, there is a growing presence of videos available about our Holy Religion. Some of these videos are truly wonderful and enlightening and not only would I like to list them in one place to keep track of them, I would also like to make it easy for others to find them, watch them, and learn what Asatru is all about. In time, I hope this site will serve as an Asatru video library. Clicking on a library topic will pull up videos that relate to that category. Enjoy! :-)
